Notes on All Wedding Packages:

Assistants are usually
students of photography; we do not count them as "Photographers"
in the package description; they'd be considered "apprentices"
in the old European tradition. Associates have consdierably
more talent and experience; they are full-fledged photographers.
Nevertheless, we understand that you choose us not only for
our skills and time, but also our artistic vision and style.
It is not a commodity product. When you contract Sara and/or
Jim, you will get Sara and/or Jim. |

The number of Photographers
and Assistants will not only affect the number of frames captured
but also the type of captures (e.g. simutaneous moments), even
the lighting and capture equipment that can be logisticly brought
along and put to good use. |

|
Payment of a retainer
and signing of the contract reserve your date. Please note that
we cannot hold dates without a retainer and signed contract.
|
|
•
|
Proof sets are usually
ready for delivery within 6-8 weeks after wedding |
|
•
|
Negatives (including
the digital equivalents) are available for a nominal fee of
$200 two years after wedding (Option A). You can also have them
at the time of proofset delivery for $500 (option B); exercising
this latter option also gives you $300 additional gift-certificate,
so the net cost for Negatives is only $200 regardless which
option you choose. Please keep in mind that even without purchasing
the negatives, each package already includes a number of digitally
mastered print-ready file-sets that are enhanced image files
ready for printing your favorite pictures from the wedding;
they are even better than un-enhanced negatives as far as these
favorite pictures are concerned. |

200 proofs in each
package is delivered in paper form (individual 4x6 or 4x5 prints);
the rest is delivered on CD for easy browsing. You have the
option of specifying more paper proofs. |

Extensive Image Enhancement and Digitally-Mastered Print-ready
Image file-sets:
Special effects and enhancement such as adding color to b&w, sepia/selenium
tonal adjustment, group picture composition, image recovery and touch-up
of old scratched photo, etc. $40/hr, estimates to be given when specific
work is commissioned.
Print-ready image file-sets are available for $150 each; with each
Print-ready image file-set, you will be able to make, on your own
or through third party, unlimited copies of 8x10, 5x7, 4x6, 4x5 and
wallets prints of the same picture; all enhanced, cropped to the correct
aspect ratios, and ready to print. They are much better images than
original capture negatives. File-sets including 11x14 size (11x14
in addition to those in the $150 set) is available at $250 for each
image.
Digital mastering service is available for pictures originally captured
either on film or digitally. We use both traditional film and cutting
edge digital technology for original capture. A small number of, nowadays
rarely used, traditional film-based print techniques however can only
be applied on per-print basis for film captures therefore not available
as digital masters.
